I found it very hard for me to daydream with my eyes closed. It may sound strange, because it seems that when our eyes are closed imagination works better and create brighter and more colorfull images.
But when I close my eyes because I've started daydreaming I can't create so bright images as when my eyes are open. I've never been wondering why's that. Maybe closing my eyes is like forcing my brain to daydream and daydreaming should be unforced.
So even when I lie in my bad before falling asleep I ceep my eyes open, because in other way I can't daydream.
The funniest thing is that I realised that just tonight. There were situation, when I was trying to daydream with my eyes closed and it didn't work, but I wasn't paying attention to that until today. My friend send me a link to this very beautiful, calm song which is very good trigger to daydream and besides that I've been recently obsessed with a singer, whose concert I was on (he's been present on polish music market for about 3 years, and that's how long I know and like him, but recenty, because he agreed to be one of the jurors in polish edition of "X Factor" he became really popular).
Anyway I made a nice daydream with him and the song is a kind of soundtrack to it and I wanted to fully imagine it, create all the scenes, all the dialogues so I popped the song on, closed my eyes and... nothing. I couldn't concentrate. So I opened my eyes and BUM! There's my daydream! :)
