Check out this article that someone showed me. It states that daydreaming while driving is more dangerous than texting. Scary! I know many of you have mentioned that you do this, so beware. I don't want anyone on here getting into any accidents.
When driving, I usually find myself daydreaming when I'm stuck in traffic waiting for the lights to turn green.
And when driving from one city to the next, it can take 2-4 hours so my mind wanders at times. It's important to take breaks in between. Plus I find talking to myself helps; when I discover my mind is wandering, I berate and tell myself to focus. Though it is awkward when other drivers see me doing this, but I would rather be weird than accidentally harm somebody on the road.
Wow that's scary, but I guess I'm not too suprised. The number of times I've had to break a bit hard because I wasn't paying attention, or end up 10km/h over or under the speed limit is tremendous.
