Hi guys, just finished my research paper!, was brutal but Im glad Im done. I was home all day today tempted 4x for like 3 hours to "surface use" MD, I got out of the house and walked to starbucks and read a book there until I felt I had control and came home. FOR ALL DDERS quiting until they can control it, THERE IS A PRICE TO PLAY, and that price is sometimes having to constantly stop what your doing and engaging in something that will get your mind off DD( going out for a job, playing basketball), it is a very DAUNTING TASK, It is excruating, but truth be told if you want to quit with all your heart until you can control it, you can do it guys. Second, I have talked to my sister about my problem, she has known for a couple of months, she has been there for me and there for me everyday, when it gets bad I call her just to talk to her, to make it through the pain. The moral of this is, find someone you really can trust to be there for you to help you every step of this way, I will gladly be there for any DDers if they need someone to talk too at any time of the day, so make use of all your resources if you want to make it easier to stop guys. Second, I have realize the more I have been working in school and been fixating and obsessing myself to my daily planner like a ritual, your mind does not wander as much. Being insecure, my mind wanders thinking of how people perceive me or, of people from my past and what they thought of me, the beauty of fixating yourself too a daily schedule is this, when you obsess so much energy to being successful, it becomes almost second nature to significantly care less of what others think, or perceive you as. SO FOR ALL THOSE WITH SELF-ESTEEM ISSUES, the step I recommend is, literally fixating yourself on work, to the point were all you want to do is succeed in accomplishing every daily goal you set out, and when you do I gurantee not only will you be high on yourself for always finishing the day strong, but you begin to become aloof of what others think.

I THINK THIS VIDEO IS BEAUTIFUL, its from Eric Thomas a Motivational Speaker, he is the one who is teaching me to will my way through my problems like MD, listen to this, he has inspired me:

Good idea. However, keep in mind that focusing on success too much could make a person reach a point where failing to accomplish a set goal could become devastating.

On the flip side, reading your posts have made me re-evaluate my life and what I want in it. I have found it easier to not MD as much over the last two days.
