Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
Hello fellow MDers,
I know I have been very quiet on here because I'm so busy, but I'm back with a new story to share with you all.
There is this website, Bitstrips, where you can create your own cartoon characters and create scenes using them. I used that site to map out one of my DD main characters' life. His name is Max. Growing up, Max lived in an apartment in New York City with his mother and abusive father. (First scene). Then, Max's mom, Jillian, finally divorces her terrible husband and moves to California when Max is 14. There, Max meets Elizabeth, who is also 14 at the time, and they fall in love. (Second scene).Lizzie and Max become famous for their Gothic Metal band, Reality Vs. Fantasy, and release studio albums and tour. (Third scene). Max becomes close with Lizzie's Goth friends, and they all spend nearly every day together socializing and just hanging out. (Fourth scene). In the fifth scene, Elizabeth dies at the age of 17 due to a rare lung and heart disease, Pulmonary Hypertension. Max had proposed only a few months prior. Max loses his love, and carries it around until he also passes away at the age of 21 due to a severely broken heart.
^That is the plot of my twisted daydreams. I think this love story could make it big in Hollywood, however, I feel awful for daydreaming about this stuff and having fun with it. :( I know us MDers can't help it, but I still carry guilt for it.
I hope you're all doing well, still writing your amazing stories, and I hope that you enjoyed my Bitstrip and reading about my plot!

Daydreaming stuff like this is so addicting. I get what you mean. Interesting plot by the way :)
I enjoyed that! xD Your story sounds very interesting and vastly different from my own! I love how everyone's MD are completely their own.
Sorry if that last comment ca,e across as rude; I was attempting to be playful but I'm worried that I may have come across as condescending. I apologize.
I like your story. I have had a character named "Maxwell" as a part of my daydreams for the past two years, although I assure you that my Max's story is much different than yours. ;P
