Chapter 11: Night Fright

 

I woke up at 4:00am morning to my doorbell ringing, "Who could that be?" I thought to myself as I pressed the buzzer, and opened my door to take a peak. It was Luc and he stomped up the stairs looking pissed as he grabbed me by the neck, slammed my door, and pinned me against the wall, "You listen here you stupid bitch!" he shouted tightening his grip on my neck sweating with anger. "You better back off of her or you're going to be gone!" he shouted heavily breathing still gripped on my neck. I couldn't talk or scream, I tried to open my mouth but nothing came out whenever I did. "Don't got anything to say about it huh...." he said before letting out an evil laugh still sweating with anger and tightening his grip as he pulled a knife out. "I'm sorry Luc I won't let your girlfriend cheat anymore!" I shouted sitting up suddenly soaked in sweat, it was just a horrible dream. I was in a terrible shock from this dream as I quickly grabbed my phone and called her up, "Stefani oh my god I just had a horrible nightmare!!" I shouted sobbing over the phone, "What happened sweetie?" a sleepy voice replied. "I had this fucked up nightmare that Luc knew about what's going on and murdered me!" I shouted with a shakey voice. I heard a few footsteps to another room "It's ok baby he doesn't know a thing.." she whispered still sounding half asleep, "Listen, he won't be with me tomorrow, we can talk about this after my parents leave, just go back to sleep it's ok." she said whispering. "Alright baby I'll try, it was just so scary he had me pinned down and he was strangling me!" I said laying back down trying to calm down, "Aww don't worry I promise you won't have anymore nightmares, get some sleep and I'll see you in the morning." she replied, "Ok baby night I love you!" I said giving the phone a kiss, "Night sweetie I love you too!" Stefani replied before quietly giving her phone a kiss too. I woke up to my doorbell ringing, this time it was at 7:30, I rubbed my eyes sitting up and heading over to the buzzer. I pressed the buzzer and opened my door, this time it was Stefani with 2 take out boxes in hand, "Morning sleepyhead I ordered us some breakfast!" she said with a grin as she made her way upstairs and gave me a hug before walking in. "Morning.." I said with a sleepy grin closing the door and turning around. "You sleep better after we got off of the phone?" she asked opening her take out box and grabbing some forks from the kitchen, "Yeah, that was still a fucked up dream though..." I replied opening my take out box, grabbing my fork, and digging in. "After you're done eating I'd get cleaned up because my parents will be here soon!" she said before taking a bite of food, "Damn that quick? They must be persistent.." I replied taking a few bites of food. "Yeah, it's more my dad than my mom since he manages me." she replied finishing her breakfast throwing away the box. I finished mine too and quickly jumped up to go get dressed, her parents would be here soon and I wanted to look my best.
