Hey, guys, I just found out a new way of stopping my daydreams. I used to walk fast and daydream a lot while walking, now I try to walk slowly and pay attention to the things around me intead of those in my head. My daydreams are significantly less. Can anybody also try this method and tell me if it works for them?

Walking to places while listening to an ipod does it for me. Ironically the one time I payed attention I nearly got hit by a taxi cab!

For me it works especially for long walks, because that's when my mind is going crazy; I still dream while walking, but slowing down and paying attention to my walk really helps a lot

Yes, I tried it and it worked. Being aware of your surroundings forces you to be in the moment. It's like meditation. Once you are aware of your surroundings, your focus shifts from internal to external.
