Hi all,
I just suspended two more spammers. We used to get them a lot more before I implemented the sign-up process you all had to go through. Unfortunately, occasionally, a few slip through. If you get a comment, usually along the lines of "Hi, my name is ___. I really like your profile and would like to get to know you better. Please email me at (email address)," it's probably a spammer. Report them to me, and I'll get rid of them. Do NOT email these people. I don't know what they're up to, but it's no good. I don't want you all to get on spam lists. Sorry you had to deal with them. I promise that I suspend them as soon as I find out. Thanks to those who report them.

I found yet another one.  Seriously, can I trust any new members not to be spammers?  This one's name was Suzzi.

Caught another one, thanks to a member reporting it.  His name is Mr. John Arko.  Ignore messages from him, and once again, I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

These are high quality forums/chat with excellent in house messaging services. Unless you really hit it of with someone you get to know here and want to make sure you can sty in touch if the place crashes no need to give out email addies at all.

Anytime someone you don't even know requests an email it should be a huge red flag.

Thank you :)

On another site, I've had that done before and stupidly emailed them. They were trying to scan me for money by using a pitful lie about eing stuck in some war area in a refugee camp where the kind priest or whatever was letting the person use the computer. They wanted a passport to the United States so I should send money. Yeah that is known as the Nigeran scam do not fall for it, they always use the same story. O_o

The two I suspended were named Mirabel and Glorybaby.  Do NOT email them.
