Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest

What is the basic themes in your daydreams?

So is there a basic theme(s) in your daydreams? In mine, especially recently, I am an orphan (for real I have a big family), a bad girl (swot for real life - it sucks) and I have a boyfriend, but the furthest we go is snogging. Also, I am always the main character and I know this sounds like I'm and egostical jerk but I'm always good at everything I want to be good at.

Do you have any sort of theme like that in your daydreams?

In my daydreaming, It is pretty much just an alternative life, probably my perfect life, In it I'm motivated, Have n0 anxiety ( yay! ) , not depressed, socially comfortable, rich, an altruist ( which I really want to be in real life anyhow ), and its kind of like watching a show like the simpsons, it isn't chronological. I'm always good at what I do, I'm always helping people, Its fun.

My daydream life even seems strange to me. It is a mixture of my worst nightmare and best life. The main part is being a permanant resident in a hospital with full time doctor (in real life he is an actor). Then it combines with part of Lord of The Rings. So strange but it's perfect to me!
