I dont know how many MDDers experience this, but i have different levels of intensity that my DDs go to. I basically dd 24/7, but the level of it varies throughout the day. It is at its highest level, when i am alone, and usually walking aroung this music playing.
I recently found out that when i DD, if i am tapping my leg, it is distracting, and i am unable to fully go where my mind wants to take me. So lately, when i get the urge to DD, i start tapping my leg. When i am in public, i understand that looks very bizarre and embaressing, but so is mumbling to mylself and making odd facial expressions. Anyways, i now always keep a hair band around my wrist, and i pull it when i start DDing in front of people. I assume this just makes me look figgity instead of crazy.
anyways...does anyone else have activities they practice to distrct themselves from DDing?
