According to dreammoods.com, you can interpret your daydreams just as you could interpret a dream you have at night. I went to their website and typed in a couple things I just randomly daydreamed about.. like I daydreamed my characters were eating macaroni (lol weird, ik, i have the weirdest dds) but it said:

Macaroni symbolizes comfort and ease. The dream may be trying to bring you back to a time where things were much simpler.

I never even knew you could interpret a daydream. Maybe now if I look deeper into the meanings, I can find out more about myself. ;D

share what your dd's mean.

hmmm, I have put some things in another site, funny how the interprtation is different. I kept having a reoccuring DD about being cased through the snow by a bear. One site, the dream zone, says bears in dreams mean that something in life is unbearable, probably my MD. But the site you suggested gives this interpretation.

To dream that you are being pursued or attacked by a bear denotes anger and your uncontrolled aggression. You are feeling trapped. Perhaps you are in an threatening situation, some overwhelming obstacle or domineering and possessive relationship.

I'm not a big believer in dream interpretation. What something means to one person will be completely different to another based on what you perceive certain things to mean.  For macaroni to symbolize comfort and ease I would have to already know in my subconscious that that is it's meaning. I don't like macaroni so I doubt for me it would symbolize comfort and ease.

I'm not denying that dreams and daydreams may have an underlining meaning but ultimately it's generated by your own subconscious and you can only create something out of what you know so as I said before if that macaroni does symbolize comfort and ease you already related macaroni to those things.

I'm just not into this whole new age dream interpretation thing. As a lucid dreamer  who can consciously observe my subconscious world I realize my mind creates things that only relate to me and have no universal meaning.

Interesting thought Mel. I looked up the four most common things I've daydreamed about, becoming a businessperson, driving an expensive car, having a hot girlfriend and having a gun collection....These are the interpretations I found:

1) Business = represents the rational and organized part of myself.

2) Expensive race car = represents my competitive nature and need to win.

3) Hot girlfriend = Not ready to settle down but desiring a relationship.

4) Guns = Gun is a symbol of power and pride. I am not violent or an angry person, I just think I feel the need to have more pride in my life.

I haven't ever felt there was something in my subconscious that I didn't already know about. Suppose I dream about bugs; that means there is something bugging me.  Well, if there is something bugging me, I am most likely already aware of what it is.

I agree with Hunter to a large extent. Different things mean something different to people.
