Recurring Characters, Themes

So, I've figured out that while my daydreams vary widely, there are a few characters that almost always show up in some form. I have one particular character who is the subject of almost every daydream, and I project all sorts of different personalities and back stories onto him to fit each dd. Do any of you have characters or themes that seem to show up a lot in your daydreams, with or without you meaning them to?

oh yes. In mine there are two main characters that alternate. Sometimes both will be in the same one but seldom. I have wondered what this means. Some say that all characters represent a part of ourselves, so are the reoccuring ones pointing something out to us? I'm still tring to figure that one out.
