I don't know if this has anything to with MD or just anxiety in general but does anyone have racing thoughts? I get them from time to time usually when I'm very stressed and usually when I haven't been sleeping well. It's like a flood of thoughts that just come to you and you have no control over them, well mostly no control. Usually whn i obsess over it it gets worse but when i don't it just stops...the thing is that i know alot of people with ADD get racing thoughts like these. So I'm confused is MD a coping mechanism or a new type of ADD...ugh so confused!!
Sometimes I get racing thoughts too. They flood my head unexpectedly and everytime I tried to stop them. The more I focus on them, the stronger they become. I discovered that meditation and yoga helps me clear my mind, but the practice must be continuous. Doing yoga or meditation once a week might not help as much as doing them daily.
thanks I've been trying to just not focus on them or else it just gets worse. I think I'm going to give yoga and medication a try! I hope it works, even just a little! thanks a lot for your reply:)
