I get into tons of fights with my parents and we don't really have a good relationship. Today after such a fight I started daydreaming about having different parents. These parents were completely different people who were younger than my real parents and actually cares about me. Is this bad?

I think, it's ok and pretty normal, I also thought like this after fights with my parents. It could be even a bit productive as basing on this you might develop certain features in you and become a better parent yourself in the future. But I also think that this dream is not worth developing, especially if you can't get fully independent financially now (which I don't know). Because you might start noticing (and exaggerating) bad things about your parents and if you depend on them financially, it could only make you feel miserable. On the other side, it could be a stimulus to get independent faster. Yeah, the world is a complicated thing. But it's just my thinking.

Side comment from fiction. Great Lev Tolstoy, the man behind Anna Karenina and War and Peace, wrote half fictional, half autobiographical novel about his childhood and teen years. He was describing the case, when he suddenly become very irritated and imagined himself (or someone else, I don't remember) killing his grandfather with axe. And then he become a fine man and a great writer. So, even this kind of thinking could be ok, if not developed, lol.

Totally side comment. You seem to wear a T-shirt with Dark Side of the Moon logo in your profile photo, but there is something else printed on it. For Pink Floyd fan, please: what else is there? Thanks.

It's an image of an old concert ticket for the Dark Side tour :3
i would have been independent this summer but recent events have changed that. My imaginary parents would be cool to live with...
