Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
I see people around me enjoying their life, boasting about how much successful they are, ''teaching'' me how to live life and be successful, some people i knew forgot me cause now they're traveling around the world! i', realizing how much i f**ked up my life, i could have worked hard before and turn my life into opposite of what I'm right now, though i still haven't lost it, I'm still 22 and studying! but by this age i could have achieved a lot, seriously a lot, i don't want to blame MD in any which ways cause it was just there since forever in my life, and also there is no point in blaming anyone or anything, it will always be there no matter what, i just need courage and motivation to make change for myself, i never gave up education or anything, i can still kick people a## and come to their level of success if i want to, but i lose patience sometimes i feel i want this quick and show people what my true level is! I WANT TO BE BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE WHO THINK THEY'RE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry for the outrage! people make me so much angry sometimes!
Other people's successes don't matter. Be yourself, you know what you can do. As for those others, meh, they are living their lives, not your problem.
It matters, it matters to me, it matters to the part of earth im living in, FYI I'm always myself i was always myself, I've been dragged into some weird race, because everyone looks down on you and treat you as if your out of some tournament when they've achieved what they've achieved what you haven't, in fact i wasn't, i hate when i can be nice to them and they cannot, they have their ego's to it's fullest level. anyways You won't understand, thanks for the reply anyway : )

Okay, I don't know if this will help, but I think I understand what you are feeling, and I had these same feelings for a long time, too. I was a part of a culture of success, where it feels like if you do not achieve you are worthless, where basically the only thing that matters is being smart and talented, where basically every conversation is a competition to prove who is smarter, happier, further along in their lives, better prepared for the future, or whatever. That is exhausting, and it is ridiculous, and living that way makes no one happy. People are always going to be annoying and shove their successes in your face, but it is counterproductive to sink to their level. Unless you are achieving for you, no matter what you do it will never be good enough. There are a lot of people more successful and more talented than you in the world. That is just true. There are seven billion people on this planet, and even if you are in the top 1% of achievers, that still means that there are seventy million people who are higher achievers than you. Fortunately, our happiness is not dependent on how well our successes in life compare to other people's. If you are motivated to do something with your life, to achieve, that is wonderful and you should, but do not do it to prove anything to other people. I lived that life, and eventually you are faced with the disappointment of realizing that no matter how good you are, other people are not going to care. Everyone is focused on their own lives, on their own goals, and even if you are "the best", most likely, no one is going to notice. Live this life for you. Achieve what you need to achieve. No one can live up to their full potential when they are caught up in that "weird race".
That was really long. Sorry.
