Hello everyone, the way i stoped my obsessive MDD was quite simple and it worked for me.
1- Make some goals, when you work or have classes try to dont daydream at anytime. First week is awfull, second is even worst but on third week gets better. That is so because your brain takes exactly 2 weeks to adapt to a new routine.
2-Daydream only on Weekend,3 or 4 hours a day before bedtime.
3-Do this While you are Young, or probably you'll suffer from this to the rest of your life
4-Try to read before bedtime till you got tired and alot sleepy.
Advantages of this system
-When you'll daydream on weekend it will be a much more vivid and detailed dream than before (Quality of daydreaming over Quantity)
-Before bedtime on weekend smoke some weed,download some new music and you'll daydreams than you will Never Ever forget, so realistic that you'll be able to mantain them only for 3/4 hours and therefore it's impossible continue with this addiction for hours on end.
I did this in this last summer,because i had enought of wasting my life away. Now im happy, i daydream like 6 hours a week on weekends and i have a normal and enriching life and i didnt had to gave up on my Dream world.
