Does a dd scene ever become a scene in a sleep dream?

My dd characters have made appearances in my sleep dreams but I've never had a scene I created show up in one until two nights ago. It was a dd I had many years ago so it wasn't fresh in my mind. It was the most vivid thing I've ever dreamed. I remember thinking omg I dded about this & now it's a real dream. I knew I was dreaming & I changed things so they would match the dd. Everyone in the dream was frantic but I was calm & changing details. I was allowing people to die but I was changing the color the house was painted.

I haven't. I rarely remember night dreams and when I do they are a strange combination of. Nothing like my DDs.

As a lucid dreamer I regularly try to recreate DD scenes in my night dreams. A lot of the time I become quite overwhelmed and so lose control but when I do manage to get it to work it's the most intense and amazing experience.
Seeing as you knew you were dreaming you will have been lucid more than likely. Sometimes when I get lucid characters in my dream freak out. I like to think this is my subconscious going "S**t, he knows this is a dream and he has power over us now!"

Ha! You know that every time you mention stuff like this am am thinking "Told you so!"

I do experience some cross over. But I also have a 4th category.  External reality. Dreams. Daydreams. None of the above. My "None of the above"  can access both my dreams and the internal space I use for daydreaming.

Edit: I suspect rather strongly that what DDers do is access the same functions or places inside that most people only use while sleeping.

My DD characters don't cross over into my night dreams, until last night. I had one character that did, and I was like....how did you get here? It wasn't nice because I DD about a certain character that is based on a true person and I know how that person is and in my night dream they showed up entirely different and I didn't like it and was kind of upset so I woke up to stop the night dream, then I had trouble going back to sleep because I wanted to daydream about that character to get them back in my right mind.......Do I have a right mind anymore? Hmmmm

That has never happened to me. I have dreamed about my characters and I've had lucid dreams, but never any of the scenes I've created. Which is sort of odd when I think about it, considering many of my scenes are played over and over again.

That is really awesome that you dreamed about it.
