Astrological sign, pisces and daydreaming

As an individual I'm not usually into spirituality or magic. But as a "MD person" I was searching for causes of the bad habit (sometimes good). I found that my astrological sign (pisces) often is coping with the stressful world in the way of daydreaming.

I now wonder if someone more has pisces as astrological sign at this forum?

Astrology is complete crap. It is trying to predict your life based on the movements of stars and planets. Don't try to base anything off of it - You will just make your conclusion match what your horoscope says.

You've got it all wrong. I'm actually very sceptical, but at the same time open.

 

You can't tell anything before you've made empirical observations. People often tell me how astrology is psychological manipulative, but then, can't everything be? Science, psychology, religion, politics and so on... how can we ever know?

I too don't believe in astrology (I'm Aquarius, btw). The few times I have read my horoscope, its way too general that can apply to anybody under any astrological sign. On top of that, the info is often dead wrong. Examples would be telling me how this or that was going to occur to me at work when I didst have a job or telling me something about my love life when I had none.

Leo here with a Scorpio rising or so I'm told. I read in a book of birthdays that my birthday is The Day of the Cryptic Secret. Normally I'm a skeptic but that got my attention. The book was called Sunsigns and I can't remember the author. But if you google your birthday (Example: December 26 birthday astrology) click on the link to TLC Family/How Stuff Works, it has a list of descriptions for every birthday. If nothing else it's just fun to look at all the friends and family bdays. Maybe pick some out for characters, sorry I don't want to encourage obsessiveness.

Eh, I never really got into that stuff, mainly because my sign doesn't even describe me in the first place LOL. It was never my adolescent fantasy to meet my prince, nor have I ever been the least bit romantic, flirtatious, outgoing, charming, or independent. Maybe my personality/life is supposed to shape up that way? xD

Your astrological chart is based on the exact minute & place you were born.  Every 4 minutesis a different chart.  I studied it for a long time (because of a DD character, of course) and concluded it was more spot on than just random chance could explain.  Not that I would base a major decision on it.  But there is quite a bit of research done on void of course moons & how they affect particularly surgery & business ventures.  So I'm not closing my mind to it altogether.  And I really enjoy doing charts on all my DD characters.  It's a lot safer than looking up their pertinent gossip on internet which gets me in all sorts of trouble.   Their charts don't tell me about new girl friends or spouting racist remarks or the like.
