I am 38 years old and have had this problem since about the age of 11. It has affected absolutely every part of my life and continues to affect it. I recently discovered this site so intend to post my progress of trying to stop on here. Yesterday I started writing down my thoughts and fanaticises for the first time in nearly a year. My life has is at quite a critical stage right now and I really need to stop this. Writing definitely helps but I’d like to hear any other advise in stopping.
