"What about a disorder where fantasy displaces reality? And where that fantasy place is somewhere where you are an improved better version of yourself. I think it's often you you are fantasising about rather than the outside world."

With respect to the growing old thing, that's something I still have trouble with. For me part of the issue is being overweight, so I'm working on losing some. It's something I'm doing with my husband because it's something we can do together, and will give us both more energy and will hopefully improve "other" areas of our marriage.

Aging is inevitable, so I don't know what I can do to mitigate my issue with that. I can't exactly grow younger and plastic surgery isn't really "my thing." I'm 44 by the way so not much younger than you. I've been pretty youthful looking until the about age of 40. I feel like I've aged 10 years in 4!

I think sometimes it has helped me to keep busy with my family. Also when I'm busy with work I hardly find time to day dream (where I do most of my daydreaming to be honest). The end of the year been good for that, as I've been very busy at work and haven't found much time for daydreaming. With the new year I'm really just trying to focus on being present with my husband and focusing on work when I'm at work. I'm hoping it will help.
