I was just curious what the age of our eldest member was.  I'm almost 41 and the other day I was thinking about my inablilty to stop MDing and will I be doing this when i'm 50, 60, 70, 80 plus?  Does this ever get better with age?  I mean are you able to control it more, have more success in eliminating it, or is it worse because it has become such a reinforced behaviour?

It scares me that there are people 40 + who MD... I'm 17 and I always imagine that in a few years I'll just naturally stop MDing, but I've been thinking this my whole life and I'm still doing it now. I'm really worried after reading that there are people that carry on doing it their whole life, as I dont want to still be spending hours on end inside my own head in years to come..

I'm 46, but I only started MDing last April, so something triggered mine later in life then most.

Thanks Roger, that's very helpful.  I'm an oversensitive person too, so it's nice to know that may descrease some as well.  It makes living in the real world difficult, contributing to the MDing.  I'm curious, how did your psychologist know about his aunt's daydreaming?  Was she a Mder?
