So the other day I was fed up with daydreaming and decided I needed some answers to clear all the clutter in my head.

So I went to go see a therapist. Except that she wasn't real and she was just another made-up character in my head. In fact, she had her own made-up little office and made-up desk and I sat there in my daydream talking to her about my daydreams.

And this actually helped me gain some insight into my daydreams (why I feel compelled to daydream, what causes it, what deters me from daydreaming, what do my characters say about me, etc).

I'm quite glad I discovered her. It certainly beats paying a real one who I probably wouldn't be able to be as open to.

Has anyone else tried this? :)

That actually sounds pretty insightful x3. I don't have an imaginary therapist but I do have constant conversation in my head which I feel really helps with my imaginative abilities and insight.

sounds interesting. I sometimes ask myself why I just DDed this or that to figure it out but never tried doing it in a DD.
