Just a short blog. What do you guys do when you feel sorry for yourself? Even my daydream
Characters arent making me feel better right now. Today i went over to my friends house like i do almost everyday
And we were both in bad moods and i know i said some things i regret.
So what happened was we were just building things out in the yard a sort
Of fort and i disagreed with his design and he just couldnt stand it
So i made my own thing and he went on and on about how
Stupid stupid STUPID my design was. And my sister was just
Telling me how pathetic i am because i have terribly low self esteem
So today has just been an awful day. And im terribly sorry for ranting about my problems
But i just really want to know how everybody else makes themselves
Feel better when theyre having an off day?( besides daydream)

Thanks everybody for all the wonderful advice. It seems every time I come to this website i learn all sorts of new interesting things. Everyone Here is always so helpful.thanks again. It means alot for u guys to help Me get through these situations. Im having a much better week now that im trying To seperate myself from these harmful people in my life. I really appreciate everyones advice

I'm same I just go under cover and feel sorry for myself and dd. the only time dd doesn't help us when I am really really anxious about something. Hope u happier now

Honestly, when I feeling sorry for myself, I don't do anything about it; I just mope around.  God, I hate admitting that, but it's the truth. :P Lol.

It sounds like you had a pretty bad day...I know how low self-esteem feels...It's hell. Please don't feel sorry for ranting about your problems...We all do it on this site. :) Even me...Especially me, LOL. I hate that. xD

When I'm having a bad day, I usually just read a book, listen to music, or even DD, even when I'm not in the best mood.

Face your feelings do not try to ignore them. I is a bit scary sometimes but it works. Ask them where they comes from and what they are telling you. In what you tell it is the problem that you wish to trust the people you like, your friend and your sister. But the bad things they tell you are more about their problems that about you.

A therapeut said to me once "Don't take an offence you do not need to, take a step back and be an observer." It is not easy to learn this but once you can you get much stronger. Listen to people telling you are stupid the same way you would listen to them telling the sky is green. You know it is not true so why should you care.

I lie in bed and try to take a nap. Because when dd doesnt work, maybe some dreams will... :)

Hi, Grey. Sry to hear it was a bad day for u. Don't get too caught up with what your sister said and try to hang out with people who will accept u for what u are instead of judging you based on how ur self esteem is right now. Family members can hurt us the most with words but sometimes they dont really actually mean it or know the extend of the damage they can make with a small comment.

 2 people in bad moods make a messed up combination.Also consider that maybe when u are in a such a bad mood sometimes being alone is better. U ll have time to recover to ur typical self and be with ur friend in a more comfortable and stable emotional state. 
So, when i have a terrible day i enjoy being alone, sometimes talking about what happened to people helps, music, distraction, video games and movies that really grabs ur attention so there's no room left to feeling sry, angry or hateful towards urself or the situation.

I play video games, read fanfiction, think of a story idea, watch youtube videos. I do it all to keep the mind of the bad stuff.
