Chapter 6: The Hangover, the Lecture, and the New Job

I was sound asleep hung over dreaming about that amazing night until I heard my door open and someone sit at the foot of my bed. "You know I worried about you last night..." my mom said, "You didn't need to I was fine mom she even had security guards all around us.." I replied groggy from the hangover. "Well still what you did wasn't right..." my mom replied giving me a worried and pissed off look. I pulled out the folded up release form and handed it to her, "Unfold it and read you'll change your mind about what you just said." I said before laying back down and closing my sleepy, hungover eyes. "Assistant? Nikki that's awesome!" she shouted as her pissed off face quickly turned into an excited grin, "Told you that you'd change your mind.." I replied with a tired, sickly grin, "And being hungover is the only price I had to pay to get it.." I said before closing my eyes again. Not another word was said as she got up excited to tell Justin the news too. I fell asleep for a few more hours before finally deciding to wake up and get myself cleaned up, but before that I decided I should text Stefani, "Hey! :) Mom's excited about the job!" I sent before I got up and hopped in the shower. After I got out of the shower I checked my phone and got a reply back from her, "That's great! I'm still with Luc, call me later so we can see each other one last time before I go back on tour! :)" it said. "Ok, but how will I get there? And what about Luc?" I replied with an excited grin. Stuffing my phone in my pocket I took my stomach pill and went to make myself lunch, hangover still looming. "How did you even get her to ask you for a job like that?" Justin asked as I sat in the living room recliner with a sandwich, "Like when I met her she fell in love with me right away and pretty much ignored everyone else so they left. Then before we went to sleep she handed me the release form to get the job, it really was kind of sudden but I'm still excited for the opportunity!" I replied as I took a bite from my sandwich and cracked open a pop. "How ling until you get the job though?" he asked curiously, "Well I told her I wouldn't be able to until May which she said is perfect because that's actually when I can get the job because her tour through the US will be finished." I replied finishing my sandwich and letting out a nice burp. After I finished eating I got up and went back to my room, and that when I got a phone call.
