Am I the only one who doesn't look into space when daydreaming???

When I daydream I dont stare into space or at a wall. Never. But I have all the other symptoms. Just curious to see if anyone else does it without dazing off.

Yes it's would be embarrasing if others saw me do this for sure. I don't play act though.

Oh, absolutely. I am completely aware when I daydream. You are not alone, trust me. I am perfectly aware, for I even act out my daydreams...Like a play. Does this embarrass you?

(This is hard for me to admit to people because it's so embarrassing to think of myself in my bedroom with music, talking to people who aren't there.)

I DD most of the time, and am also interacting with others much of the time.  I can carry on a conversation, look right at the person, hear what they are saying, and respond appropriately; the whole time I am DD'ing.  I have done the 2 things so long that I actually like having something else to do, listen to, focus on besides just the DD.  So no, I don't stare off into space.

I do stare into space and I make facial expressions and sometimes sounds that fit my daydreams, but not the real situation I am in.  Having a daydream in front of other people is difficult, not the actual daydream itself but trying to control my responses to it.

I don't really stare. I superimpose entities everywhere and look around like I would if the things I was imagining were actually there.

But when I'm worried about people noticing, I do stare into space.
