Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest

A band I've DD'ed to a lot in the past couple years

(I'll link some of my favorites at the bottom)

A band that I find the most fun to use as background noise or to pretend I'm playing as is this band called EOTO. It consists of only two people, using electronic kits and real instruments to do improv sets with good light shows. One is a drummer, and another guy that does bass, synth, guitar. They just play whatever they want, start looping it, and altering it. Their earlier stuff (Started in 2008) is my favorite, because it was a lot more mellow and funky, whereas now it is more of the screeching dubstep sounds.

Listening to a whole set, the song tracks morph slightly and by the next you don't realize where it took you. It's fun for me to pretend to play the music, with the amazing light shows I can make in my head, but I also enjoy it for my science related DDs.

They have been touring most of the year for the past 4 years, and you can download over 100 sets from their website. If you are interested in them, I can send you some sets I like the most since there are so many.
