Where wild minds come to rest

I’ve been trying to stop daydreaming for awhile now. I really want to stop but, it’s like a gravitational pull that I can never resist I don’t know if it’s my lack of relationships or what but, I do know it’s something that I would like to stop. Stopping is not an issue for me but staying consistent is. I feel like I’ve tried everything and I’m disappointed in myself because, it seems like I’m just running in circles.

I’ve been married for twenty four years to a wonderful spouse and I still MD. I think it is just escapism like drugs, food or alcohol.

I’m the exact same way. It’s like it pulls me back in, I’ll even go right into a scenario without even realizing it. I’m desperate to get it under control. Something that has helped is staying distracted. I find that I tend to slip into daydreaming when my mind isn’t preoccupied. That’s about the only thing I’ve found so far that works

Hi. I am going through the same thing. I want to stop really badly. But i fall off the wagon time and time again and i get so frustrated with myself that i fall into a depression. But somehow i still feel that i can beat this thing if i just try harder.

Well it sounds like the usual vicious circle we must had to deal with when we are addicted to something. We obviously feel dissapointed when we fall back at our addictions again. I've tried thousands of methods over and over and I fail again .But it comes the time you´re more conscient and it ain´t that hard anymore. Sometimes takes longer you expected to have the results you want .As long as you don't give up you´re at the right path.

JUST CHEER UP!
