He expects a lot from it but then barely notices…

So over the last 4 years or so I developed an fixation on Lord of the Rings, I started off liking the movies alot but then decided to read the books and got sucked in. It's a great story right up my alley and I am willing to bet money Tolkien was a lot like us. So much detail and history in this immaculate fantasy world he created in his mind. Long chapters of dialogue that make the character's personalities clear to you as they change throughout their individual journeys.
