I've been to the New River-not to this specific place though-with one of my old friends in elementary school. We went canoeing and I had the time of my life. This river is the only one in Virginia that flows backwards, I believe. We aren't good friends anymore though. We drifted apart although I wanted to still hang with her. We are a lot different-I'm the smart but weird one-she's the popular but average one. She was the best friend I've ever had though.
