My daydreams certainly have helped my creative endeavors in many ways. But one major drawback of MD is that because I enjoy so much coming up with ideas, I tend to lose interest when it comes to transferring those ideas to real life. I've made many things before. My preferred medium is painting. But it's been a lot harder to paint ever since I turned 20 (2 years ago). Does anyone else have this problem with their MD?

I do have the same problem as you. I'm already a college student taking fine arts major in advertising and during the first year of university, I always received a passable grade which in my case is completely unacceptable. I get what you mean about losing interest in executing an idea into an art form. There are so many things coming up in my head that I failed to organize what i needed to achieve. Thus, i ended up passing plates which my professor always commented 'art brute'. I'm not that good when it comes to painting. Actually i'm not really into painting, more of drawing type, but since my course required students to paint, I'm practicing. Right now, i'm indulging myself into reading. And as a form of therapy, I started writing novels or short fiction stories based from the fantasies in my mind. All of them are still unfinished but this type of hobby really helps my mind to focus.

Sorry for my grammar. English is not my first language but I'm glad to be able to share this.
