Thanks for weighing in. I guess what I was relating is that MD seems to stem from a nervousesness/agitated state, at least for me. Maybe it's the same but just on a grander scale

Pacing/rocking during daydreaming is rarely due to agitation. What psychomotor agitation means is that the person becomes so agitated that the agitation begins to manifest itself physically, often in the form of self-harm.

But I get what you are trying to point out. Hmm. I think in its mildest form, it might be related
