Taking Risks

Ever since I was little, I was never a person to "take risks". I was always scared of what couldhappen and cautious of all my surroundings. I wouldn't always not do things out of fear, too. Irealized today that it was  my MD that caused me to not want to have experiences. Forthings that scared me (such as jumping into a  lake or  riding roller coasters) would be because ofthe scenarios i would daydream about. Someone jumped into a lake and got eaten by a hugesea monster or the…See More

Naming Characters

Hey!I am just wondering if someone else does this. I make an awesome character backstory, personality, plot. But I have a problem when making my characters : the names. When I was younger the characters didn't need names. Every time someone said there name it was a random jumble of gibberish. Later I started to have a need for to name my characters. I felt like they weren't a good or complete character if they didn't have a name. So i started to brainstorm names and WOW! Its hard for me. Since…See More

Some of my MD history

Posted on February 19, 2017 at 8:14am 0 Comments

Hi again!

As I brought out in my last post,I thought daydreaming a lot was normal and never minded it. I think now I can remember when I started maladaptive daydreaming after i started thinking about it. I have memories of myself watching this one kids show about superheros. It was so stupid! but for a 3 year old it was my favorite show. I daydreamed a made up character going on these adventures with the tv show characters. I knew it wasn't the best made program, but it was the only…

Yeah, I don't have a clue how to make a blog post but I'll try.

So I've had MD ever since i could remember and never knew that other kids didn't daydream like I did. Sure, as children you daydreams a lot (i think that's why i thought it was normal, i heard people say it was normal for kids to daydream) but even as a 5 year old, i had violent daydreams. I got older and realized that something was different between me and other kids. I couldn't put my finger on what, exacly, but there was…
