So, we had to make an introduction session with another region and prepare a collage to describe our interests. I was showing the slide as below and the guys had to guess the interests. The weirdest guess was "hallucinogenic drugs and occult". The funny thing is that there is some truth in it. Dreaming and travelling is a kind of drug and music is a kind of occult. And here is goes: a quote from John Lennon's "Imagine", a quote from Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to heaven" (not about travelling, but close), a quote from Marylin Manson about music and magic, a quote from Beethoven about the power of music to strike a fire and "Genius at work" (God knows, what they meant), Nightwish, Jimmy Hendrix, Beethoven, Daft Punk, William Joseph, Bach, Yngwie Malmsteem, Trent Reznor, Jimmy Page, Roger Waters, Apocalyptica, Lacrimosa, Freddie Mercury, Pete Townshend, Vangelis and Mozart, Brugge in Belgium, Prague, Bologna in Italy, Oostende in Belgium, Murakami, Waking life, Inception and Vanilla Sky, lucid dreaming and regular dreaming.

Thanks, Angel. This is exactly, how I feel. And this is a topic of my day fantasies (including time machine), lol. There is something magical in music, any kind of music - from Bach to Industrial. There was a movie from 60s, called Privilege, they even tried to build up on this topic, a pop singer became a kind of preacher.

That's awesome!  You have good taste!  And I suppose your classmates aren't too far off with their guesses.  Actually its just about right.  Would it be sacrilegious of me to say compare a really good concert to a religious experience?  That's what it feels like every time I've seen NIN.  If I had more $$$ I would love to see more bands... or a time machine...  ;)
