Wow, we are both in Wisconsin. There must be something about Wisconsin that inspires Daydreaming. Anyway, my Daydreaming became Maladaptive at an early age. At first it was fun and my Friends played along, but soon they were moving on to other things and I was left alone. I didn't like Sports or Boy Scouts or anything my Friends were involved in eventually. We camped out a few times and swam in the lakes and got into trouble, but I lost touch and they moved on. Gradually we didn't know each other anymore and I tried to fill the void with more Daydreaming until I kind of lost control of my mind as a teenager. Then, in my 20's I was Diagnosed with Bipolar and later AD/HD Inattentive Type, which is a variety where there is no Hyperactivity but there is an Altered Consciousness; as though I am always somewhere else and never Here and Now Present. Believe me, you don't want this.
