thnx cordellia for making such an amazing site...and letting me be a member!!!!

  • roxanne

Cordellia - how are you?  Hope all is well with you & kitties.

Do you know what happened to Hank?  I hope he is OK.

  • roxanne

I'm so sorry to hear that but I trust your judgement.  He suffered from depression and probably bi-polar disorder & I'm guessing that that played a part.  But you certainly have to protect the site.

How are you & kitties?  Their pictures are too cute.

  • Ignacia

Thank you for accepting me! That was faster than I thought it would be!

May I ask is Cordellia Amethyste is your real name or a user name? It's just that it sounds like the kind of poetic name Anne Shirley from Lucy Montgomery's books would pick. She was quite a daydreamer too...

  • Ignacia

Really? It's so fitting! What a cool coincidence!

And Anne is the best. She is one of those characters I find it's so easy to relate to. Along with Sansa Stark and Luna Lovegood!

  • Kacey

    Thanks!

  • ILivin MyHead

Thank you Cordellia for creating this site. So nice to find others who experience what I always thought was my little " wierd secret". It's thereputic to read some of the experiences and stories people share. Hopefully soon I will feel comfortable enough to share some of mine.

  • Luna

I just want to say thank you so much for making this website. For years I believed that I was a freak, that I was the only person who suffered from this and that I was all alone. Now I know that I am not alone, and Wild Minds is really helping me. So thank you so mcuh!

  • Alexina VanDoring

Thank you for adding me to your site. I have searched long and hard for others like me. I really believed I was the only one. I hope the psychology field does more research on this topic soon.

  • Jeanine Cunningham

  • Eli Ee

    Thank-you.

  • Michelle Le

Thank you. Thank you thank you thankyou. I'm the strangest person I know, and a large part of that stems from the  hours spent in my multiple alternate realities.  Thank you for showing me that I'm not alone.

  • johanna

    thank you, cordellia!

  • Bolon Yokte

    Thanks for the learning experience.

I have studied several books on near death "vs" clinical death experiences over the years. Based on what I have read I believe some types of near death experiences may be related to MD. I take a more extreme viewpoint on the relation between MD and Near Death experiences. i.e. That actual interaction between spiritual entities may be taking place in MD and Near Death experiences between a biological person and spiritual entities from a spiritual realm in extreme MD cases.  I say this to see if I can still be accepted among You and members of Your website.  Thanks for the Greeting.

  • Brenda

Thank you. I am surprised to find this site. Glad I did.
  • Kassie Jones

Thank you!! I couldn't sleep last night and was so excited to find an article that then led to your site. Although very happy in life, i've been a daydreamer all of it. I love daydreaming, don't get me wrong, but have never understood why I am always in another world. Or, what do others do when not engaged in an activity. How could you not be thinking of something all the time?

  • Robyn O'Malley

    Thanks !

  • DD Believer

Thanks for adding me...I'm glad to find others who have spent a majority of their lives in a daydream.  I love my daydreams and have learned to control them but there was a time when they controlled me and I was quite hopeless at that point.  I will enjoy getting to know others here.

  • Virgie Wade

    Hi thanks for the welcome

Im really excited and amazed at this sight never would of thought there would be such a sight. I have been doing this my whole life and it just trips me out that other people do this I live about 3 different lives in my head.

  • Angie

Thank you so much for the greeting

  • Kitty

Thank you for the greeting. ^^ I just read an article about M.D and it sounds like something I have been dealing with my whole life. I can't believe there are others like me.

  • Terrie Jones

Thanks for the welcome message. I found the site through the Yahoo Article.

I didn't realize that there were so many other people who live in their daydreams, or that there's a name for it. I know it's because of my childhood, but honestly, it's never really bothered me that much. So far, it hasn't had a huge impact on my life. If anything, it's made me strive to be that strong, decisive, got-it-together person I imagine myself to be, although I do tend to get frustrated and/or depressed when I fail.

I'm looking forward to learning more about this disorder.

    Terrie

  • Jalashala

I just learned I'm not the only one in the world who does this as of last night, and then on top of that, learned of this website  I'm on vacation visiting family, but I plan to be more active.  Looking forward to hearing from others!!!

  • Jalashala

Thank you for the greeting btw!

  • J Peters

Thank you. Thank you so much....

I found this site through a Yahoo! article...I nearly fell off my chair when I read it...I thought I was the only "insane" person on the planet who had this issue. Most especially the fact that others are conflicted about whether it's a positive or negative in their lives. I've had my little "thing" since I was in 4th or 5th grade, and I'm  middle aged. I don't remember what it's like not to have my alternate reality. I don't think I could survive without it. It's always been there when nothing and nobody else was....

  • E-Leigh

Hi Cordellia, thank you for the greeting. So excited to find a community of people like me who understand this need for a second reality. It has both  stunted my relationship with the world and helped me stay alive in this world. It's nice to not have to completely keep it as a secret.
