That is pretty intense dialog. I think it can be true and false at the same time. The mind does recycle feelings and emotions. I've had a counselor tell me that because of some of my passed trauma's, my brain recycles words and feelings that people have hurt me with. "You're fat!" You're stupid!" "No one loves you!". We create a story where we are the opposite of those negative feelings. But I also believe our minds can make something out of nothing. It's a miraculous gift we've been given. Look at some of the great literary works where authors have created completely different worlds. I also believe that inspiration plays a drastic role in the creation of images and stories.
