Hi everyone, I have had maladaptive daydreaming since I was about 13, but I have always had fantasy worlds since I was very little. I am now 22 and I decided to try and stop this. I also have social anxiety, which is probably the main reason this has become an addiction for me. In the past I used to feel extremely empty inside when I tried to stop, but luckily I don't feel that way anymore.
