I am ,like you, older than many of the participants and feel like my dreaming is in general well controlled.  I actually didn't realize until recently that it was particularly unusual.  I thought most people dreamed (almost) as much, but their dreams were just mundane & boring.  I also am Christian and particularly love the catholic saints.  I will talk to them , or to someone about them, to help me decide a course of action, or to delve further into my spiritual journey.  I am always respectful & loving toward them and do not see this as sinful.  I have received inspiration & comfort as well as motivation to study difficult subjects like John Of the Cross' Dark night of the Soul.  I would be interested on your take on this.
