I started this group for those of us who constantly replay events in our mind.

@StarryStarryNight I can totally relate to what you are saying and I do exactly the same! I only found out about MD very recently and I knew I have a variation of that. For the longest time I was frustrated with my self that why I cannot pay attention and even consulted psychotherapists for ADHD diagnosis with mixed results.

Now at last there is some relief to see other people describing the same situation I go through!

Something I always do with my MD is once a situation happens, I replay that event over and over in my head with every possibility that could happen if I was my alter-ego. This of course stimulates a daydream. Sometimes I hate this because it makes me feel not as capable as my alter ego is, but I've gotten over that fear. I'd love to share my story on how ive overcome MD ME an have used to my advantage. But I have son questions do you all because I love to analyze:
    1. Is your alter ego popular in your fantasy world?
    2. Are you able to block out your daydream urges
    3. Does your family know about your MD.
    4. Have you had MD every since you could remember?
    5. Are you planning on writing a book on the story your created in your MDs?

I tend to Ruminate on thing that haven't actually happened. Catastrophize? Not in a positive way.... sigh....
