Your the first teacher I've heard who actually does DD. Ones I knew all my years usually didn't do that. I just find that interesting.

Yeah, for sure, I'm climbing out of my MD entirely, but feel a bit low. My real life sucks right now.

I was too enrolled in a animation program I used to have so many ideas but I could hardly work on any. The same thing is going on now I left that field and now I am an English teacher. There are certain exams I have to prepare for to get further in my career and those exams are tough. But no matter how much I want to, I can't sit down to study for it even though I love English Literature.

And I am also tired all day because real life world and daydream world take a lot out of me not to mention what pacing does to my legs. I have constant pain in my legs but I cannot stop pacing. Once a DD though comes to mind, I just have to pace for hours and get through it. I am really depressed.
This actually worries me, but…tag:wildminds.ning.com,2019-04-27:4661400:Comment:3391322019-04-27T13:56:10.579ZSilver Swanhttps://wildminds.ning.com/profile/SilverSwan51

I went to Art College and wanted to take up their Drawing and Painting program. However, making money was a huge deal to my dad, because his parents were poor. He's now a successful architect. So he literally talked me out of continuing my art studies and take up something very practical. He suggested that I take up graphic design, all because it opens doors. Whatsoever, I forgot that you MUST be driven to be a graphic designer. It's a very hard and competitive field. So I took the graphics program anyway, got my degree, but didn't land any terrific roles. I finally got a job that lasted for a few years, but the projects weren't stimulating and professional looking, and they were very mediocre. I suddenly realized that my artwork got neglected for a long time, all for sitting down to do work that I didn't even love, all for the money. I'd spend hours in my computer office daydreaming as I did these underwhelming projects. When the weekends come, I wouldn't feel driven and active to do anything creative. I'd just want to get out on my bicycle and cycle for miles. My point is, you physically have to keep it up, or else you might lose it.
Yeah I also thought it may ge…tag:wildminds.ning.com,2019-04-27:4661400:Comment:3389242019-04-27T11:06:22.499ZSakshihttps://wildminds.ning.com/profile/Sakshi

I agree with the smart thing ( not bragging) but so much of my time goes away in daydreaming that I cannot sit for 15 min at any work. I like doing so many things but my concentration span is so short. I can barely write three lines I have to get up and daydream and then I forget whatever ideas I had in my mind.

I would love to hear how others manage to do whatever they want to do.

People that do mind blowing daydreams all their life are usually brilliant or very smart. It's a shame so many ordinary people don't think so and relate it to madness.

I have been daydreaming ever since I can remember. When I was a kid, my family just ignored it thinking that it must be some kind of a game or something. But as I grew up the thing only increased. While I try to do it when I am alone but still the family knows.

Once I had gone to the hospital with my mother and uncles. When my mother went inside, I walked out and started daydreaming in a place i thought was isolated but I did not know that my uncles could see me.

It was absolutely humiliating when my uncle said later - " done talking to your self?" and I wished the Earth would open up and swallow me. I was atleast 18 years old at that time.
