I'm an ENFJ. I'm pretty sure I'm a 4W3. That seems to describe me pretty well. I want to learn more about enneagram though. I could see there being a link between 4 and MD, with both having a rich inner life, and active imagination. Does anyone else find that MBTI and enneagram to go well together.

haha, my boyfriend said to me soon after we met that he thought I was a type 4. I haven't studied it, but it sounds pretty accurate.

Also, being an INTP means I'm mostly inside my head all the time, which allows me to spend time in fantasyland. I am going to start a new thread on MBTI and MD to further discuss these topics because I think this is all very interesting! I would seriously like to know more about all of this :)

xf079 said:…

For instance, daydreaming allows me to explore feelings and emotions I'm actually unwilling to experience in the real world, like romantic love. I'm very rational and the main characters of my stories are very rational as well (only the supporting roles are sometimes feeling types). However, my main characters do fall in love and do things I won't allow myself in real life.

While type 4 does closely describe me I identify with type 5 more but do like tritypes (5-9-4) better, they tend to be a lot specific and accurate, at least to me they do and since everyone is listing their mbti mine is INTP. I wonder if the feeling function is more common among md-ers or maybe there is a balance.

Why is that so important to put people in category. People are different thats for sure. Different reactions, different cooping strategy. But the real question is who I am not what type I am. There are not 9 type of person, there are 7 billions of them. Sorry, I am just sick of those personality test. I feel if I don't find my own way, nobody will find it for me.

@Destiny Lund - Awesome. :) I'm an ESFP. I go by the tritype too, so I know what you mean. Mine is 7w8 > 4w5 > 1w2 sx/sp, although recently I've gone back and forth over whether 4w5 could be my main type instead of the 7w8. It's hard to say, because I feel like I'm exactly in the middle!

I'm an ENFP & my enneagram tri-type(more complex/detailed than the standard) is 7-2-8 sx. Basically means my MAIN enneagram is Type 7. Type 4 hardly fits me at all.
