I came across an article about the study of MDD through the years. It was a pretty big article, but it had a short paragraph about symtoms of MDD and breafly stated that nausea, dizziness, and headaches could be side effects. The reason I'm bringing this up is because for the past 3 months I've been having headaches day in and day out ranging in length of time and severity. Sometimes the headaches are accompanied by nausea and dizziness. I have had a history of headaches and so have the women in my family by I know my body and I've NEVER had headaches like this before. There not migraines or cluster headaches or anything like that either. I've been to the doctor and my blood work is normal, as well as my MRI scan showed nothing out of the ordinary. Next I'm gonna try the eye doctor and then if that doesn't help, a chiropractor. Anyways the point of this long drawn out question is, have any of you, my fellow day dreamers experienced these symptoms for no reason? Could they possibly be side effects of MDD? Sounds a little weird to me, but your feedback would be great! Thank you for taking the time to read this!!!!

My apologies, I ment MD* not MDD. I was listening to one of my favorite bands, My Darkest Days (shortened MDD) before writing this, that's why I put MDD instead of MD. Sorry guys and gals!

I did, when I had MD. It could have several sources, like overthinking everything (resulting in conflicted feelings/bad sleep/using up too much energy e.t.c.), disguised depression, or not breathing properly (so that the brain doesn't get much oxygen).

Btw have you looked up the possibility of having allergies? It can add to the headaches. I have allergy to the city pollution, and my head is messed up when I don't get my medicine.

when you "had" MD? meaning you were able to conquer it? how? if you don't mind me asking.

No. I'm a major daydreamer, but I never experience any headaches or nausea. I get nausea from my laptop screen ,however.

I have been experiencing headaches from daydreaming for about a month - sort of like what you are describing, but in my case, the level of pain is seldom so severe that it interferes with my daily tasks, but I can tell that there is a light, mostly bearable, almost incessant headache - and this pain level usually increases right after an MD episode. Maybe 2 or 3 times, it has been so bad that I couldn't do much at the time - but as I said, this level of pain is rare in my case. Also, I have noticed that generally when I wake up this pain is quite less, sometimes even non-existent.

I have never experienced nausea and dizziness from MD though.

I face all these symptoms when I try and stop to daydream. The longer I'm able to stop the bad these get. I suppose it's just all the repressed emotions surfacing.
