Thanks for the welcome (probably a bit sad that I am so excited to get a reply :-)
Anyway, good to be in touch with people who know exactly what I am going through
Hey thanks for the warm welcome Cordellia. :)
And what an awesome site this is! Had it not been for you I never would have known MD had a name or that so many others experience it.
BTW I don't know what you look like in your daydreams but in real life you're pretty hot.
Hope I'm not out of line here, I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking. ;)
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a good idea. I'm not going to try to tell anyone else how to live. I'm just looking to understand things better. I've actually been on both sides of this, and went from being an extreme escapist dreamer to being incapable of accessing my imaginative side at all. I'm sure there's some kind of middle ground that I would like to find. Perhaps I was led here for a reason. I also just noticed the group for people with sensory sensitivity, and I've never been part of anything like that before, despite having been aware of my condition for a long time. I suspect that I will relate pretty well to the people here. If I notice that I'm disrupting the community, I'll leave. Have faith. I'm not necessarily what you think I am. :)

Thank you for the welcome, Cordellia. And thank you for taking the initiative to set up this community. I've wrestled with this "quirk" for years and never thought I'd ever run into anyone else who shared my experiences. I have a lot to learn from this place. :)
I'm glad to be a part of this gifted group Cordellia. I think we are all looking for ways to make this gift a blessing, and not something else.
Cheers!
Not being original... but thank you for creating this place, it's amazing to finally find out there's more people with the same "peculiarity" as mine, and that finally our "problem or gift" it's starting to get attention and meanwhile we have a a place like this to get some comfort.

Hey,
I will try to publicize the article....anyone who is interested in cognitive psychology will nerd out about MD I think. Haha!
Thanks again.

I want to say thank you, from my heart, for writing such a powerful, kick ass, insightful article on MD.
I also love that most of your sources come from people on this site. Notice that I didn't say "regular" people because indeed, we are extra-ordinary.
I just want to say thanks....that is all.
Jane
