I have been looking into brain waves for a bit. (If you dont know what im talking about i highly suggest looking it up) and i think i might have found something that may make our daydreaming problem easier to deal with. gamma waves are brain waves the mind creates at certain times during our lifes, according to research, gamma waves bind to our senses, sight, smell, etc. In other words it puts us in the now. People with high gamma waves can smell on a more noticeable level then others, people can increase brain waves using binaural beats which are made to trick the mind to produce brain waves, i downloaded a 10 minute gamma binaural beat, i discoved that it had a useful effect on me, i found it complete ease not to get caught in the stories inside my head, its like mindfullness, if you guys like, i can put down the web site for the gamma wave download, i hope the information i gave yous were helpful

Are you saying that you listen to these beats as you go about your day?  And it stops you from daydreaming but you've got this thing playing in your head instead?  Or are you saying that you listen to it once a day for a certain period of time and it has a long term effect?  Or that you listen to it whenever you feel the urge to daydream?

You need headphones or earphones, what happens is a frequency of lets say 10 hz is played in one ear and 22 hz in the other the brain sees the diffrents and responds by creating a frequency 11 hz to even the two frequencys, by doing this it changes the state of mind, daydreaming happens at alpha waves which are around 12 hz

I found it by searching on YouTube.  Kind of gave me a headache, but since I wasn't DD'ing at the time I couldn't say.  I bookmarked it and will try again.  Aaffy, it isn't a tune as such, more a tone.
