Changing Daydreams (How often do you change?)

How often do your daydreams change? I had one I played over and over for months, and then I had bursts of activity where I created new ones in my mind, and then I would switch and go back to the old one for awhile. Now my mind is back on creating new ones. With every new daydream, it's a complete story, from the beginning to the end. If I had any discipline about me, I could write some wonderful novels.

Some of my daydreams are just silly ( I think), but then again, I think they would make for great story lines.

I can have new daydreams occurring at any time, but they are all within one world with the same characters. The characters in it evolve too - "dynamic characters"...so if you took a snapshot of my dreams a year ago they would be somewhat different than today. But the evolution is slow. Similar to the Meghan/Michelle version, I think...

Mine last a pretty good amount of time. Probably a year at least at a time. And I will revisit ones from the past - from years upon years ago. "Old standbys" when I'm in the mood. It's also for me like another stated - whatever I'm super invested in - such as TV Series, novel series, movies, etc - In both a fan fiction sort of way and or just as an inspiration on an original story line in my head. But usually I ALWAYS will come back too the ones that developed in my adulthood. Not the ones from my younger childhood. I did "outgrow" those and developed more mature themes to my dreams.
