My safe place, and acting out daydreams

Most of the time when I daydream, I'm in my room, on my bead, and covered in blankets. When Im in my room, I have to act out my daydreams. It's a habit. For as long as I remember, I have acted out my daydreams. Now when I'm out in public and daydreaming, I keep it down to tapping my foot and constantly moving my hands. I just feel weird when I act out my daydream, especially when my daydream is about 'that'....... But away from that topic.

So does anybody else do this, I know at least somebody else has done this, it just feels weird. But it's a habit I have been doing since forever.

everything that @Paracosm said. it just feels so much better to act it out. i live in a pretty rural area too so if my room isn't spacious enough for my daydream i'll go for a walk or a run

Yes, I've always acted out my daydreams. Imagining it in my head is not enough and I can't be satisfied until I act my daydreams out, and I'll often act out the same situation over and over again until it feels just right. I get an urge and then I withdraw to my room so no one will see me, or if no one's around, I'll keep it to a whisper. If somebody is in the room, I'll often turn my back to them so they don't see my facial expressions changing.

I understand how weird it feels. I don't think I could live with myself if somebody ever saw me acting out my daydreams. They would think I've lost my mind. Oh wait—I have lost my mind.
