Oh god the sleep disruption is one of the worst parts of being, for lack of a better term, crazy. I thought I could walk around all day pretending to be sane but there's only so much sleep you can lose before you become physically ill.

:(

I just recently got a sound machine for Christmas and it has been helping me a lot. I love listening to rain and get really tired/sleepy/groggy on rainy days, so I set it to the rain setting and it helps me to relax. I have to have sound to sleep to and my fan makes my room very dusty (I have bad allergies/sinuses), while my heater uses too much electricity and makes my room too dry and hot. It might be something you want to look into. Unless you can't take sounds while sleeping... then I don't know. But I hear technology hypes people up at night so go about an hour without it before bed, which is hard to do for me because I normally DD with my ipod before sleeping :/

When I was a teenager I'd stay up all night dding some nights. The 2 or 3 hours of sleep didn't seem like they'd help me all that much anyways. Until the dd excitement stopped and I was staring at a workday. Ugh. I use my iPad as a mini tv to watch or listen to stuff I have heard a million times but I still like to hear it. It lulls me to sleep but I have to be tired already and I know that a lot of times the dds won't let us get tired. I hope you've made up for the lack of sleep by now -jen
