I constantly want to express my daydreams. The only problem is, i have no way to express them. My only medium is writing, so i came up with an idea.... a book! Why not make q book of our short storys (all about various daydreams)

Interesting idea. My daydreams wouldn't work as a short story, though, because they all connect to this huge ongoing plot that's been going on for the past year or so.

Machelle - that is a terrific idea.  Writing is my primary outlet.  The trick is not to be writer-ly, at least not at first, just let your imagination be in control.  In writing, you need to first let the "creator" have free reign before you allow the "critic" to start revising.  So don't worry about grammar, punctuations, or anything structure when you first start writing it out.  Just let your mind do what it wants and transpose it into words the best you can.  One trick I learned in college (I have a BA in English) is to turn the computer monitor off so you can't see what you're writing.  Instead, just connect with that daydream, or muse, or whatever you want to call it and let it flow.  No rules.  Writing it out is a terrific goal to set for yourself and you never know what may come of it.  Use your gift.  Because it is a gift.  And just so you know, I've been working on a novel for a long time, struggling and struggling with it.  Once I embraced the MD'er part of myself and realized what it is, I decided to make it work for me rather than against me.  I have about 60,000 words written for my novel at this point.  Do it, girl!  Know that you can.
