A Story Without a Villan (2)

Second installment of the backstory of my alternate self, Amara Bouchard:

After arriving in Paris, France, in 1793, Amara met a 30 year old nobleman named Jacques. He was still unmarried and found her very charming and beautiful. After conversing with her at a coffee shop in downtown Paris, he invited to his home to see his library, as she was very fond of reading. Amara lied to him and told him that she was waiting until her family arrived in the city and just needed to stay…

Stilling the mind

The more I am aware of MD, the more I am aware of the necessity of stilling the mind.   Mental chatter can sometimes be the enemy of clarity.   A monk I was watching said he called it "monkey mind" because his mind was chattering on like a monkey.   A rabbi I watched had an entire sermon dedicated to the virtue of stillness.…

Subliminal mind control therapy

My latest attempt at a cure or treatment is mind control. Heard a man talking about it on the radio show Coast to Coast AM. I ordered one of the programs called Serenity. It has shadowed subliminal messages or affirmations in with oceans sounds. You can choose nature sounds or music. The sound of waves is soothing to me anyway. The company is called InnerTalk, I liked them because they provide a list of all the messages in the recording, so you don't wonder what they are really telling you…

Depression and me

I have become so indecisive and insecure. I can’t decide where to go , whether to go, when to go, what to order, what TV program to watch, what bag to carry, where to go 1st if I go to get food. I am totally confused. I am also the hardest on myself. Almost demeaning myself when there is no one else to do it. Scolding myself for being indecisive, for being fat, for taking the wrong decisions, for being…

Is it just me??

I have had MD as long as I can remember and it feels like when I grow a little older then my minds gets slower. Is it just me. A few years ago my mother told me that I had selective memory which means that I listen and remember the things I want then tune everything else out. maybe because she has to tell me things more than 3 times to get me to listen. I think it's so true but I'm not sure. I mean…

" Sims 2 Vs. Life " or What have I learned from playing Sims 2

  1. Time goes by very fast.

My virtual Sim named Tony was an adult when I started to play the game and now he will become old in just 5 virtual days. Well, he had a successful career, many lovers and a great son, so Tony lived his life quite well.

Anyway, this life is very short. I mean the real life. Every virtual reality is just a reflection of our real reality.

Take a few minutes and remember the times when you were a kid, playing…

The Mind is an Amazing Tool

I want to share my graduation exam story to reveal a brilliant aspect of the brain.

We got a month to prepare for the exam. Obviously everyone learned all year, but this extra month was considered to be the time when everyone " gets ready for the exam ". However, I was not one of those people. No one would believe how I spent this month and I know it. It is possible that even I wouldn't believe it if someone else would tell me this.

While everyone else was…

OVER ACTIVE BRAIN- BLESSING OR CURSE

i dont know why but whenever i have a question,i usually dont find it in other blogs...so i'm gonna start it........all MDs have an overactive brain...i mean we are(or is it just me? ) always thinking, daydreaming, imagining scenes/stories,making plans....etc etc. We hardly have a moment of peace when our brain is not super busy...i want to know if it is a good thing or a bad thing.my mom told me that when she was a student, she could solve equations and remember huge answers in her brain...she… Continue

Almost lost my finger because of Daydreaming!!!

Ok so 10 minutes ago i was shredding papers because my mom had asked me to. As i was shredding, iwas daydreaming about a stressful situation that i have been currently in for the past few days and what i would do if worst comes to worst.

I accidently left my left hand on the papers too long and the paper and the shredder sucked/dragged my pinkie finger down into the shredder!!!! Luckily, i reacted quickly and pulled my finger out.

But it hurt!! and i can still feel the pressure…

comfortably numb

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
The dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.

Bought A New Album/Trigger

I bought a new trigger. A new album Adele 21, So I've been on an imaginary stage dancing around as I clean the house today. The imaginary Me in Wonderland didn't particulary want to do this album, she is not an RnB fan, but her voice is so good that her record company offered he a huge advance to do the project. *Rolls Eyes*. I'm a fucking nut case!

So I've been doing really good lately, well if you can call it that. I've moved from Wonderland to dding about reality. Which is…

ruining my life

I'm new here so I really have no idea how this site functions, so you'll have to excuse me!

I have felt as though I am losing my mind for years now, except that before I can appropriately address the fear and try to make plans for improving things I start 'daydreaming' again. My entire life is made up of elaborate 'fantasies' (I hate that word-it sounds nerdy and like i'm a creep) and half-baked regular thoughts. I can't function anymore!

I'm a full time uni…

A Dream About the Passed and a Confrontation

I HATE MY mind. It goes from A to Z in the blink of an eye. Sometimes I feel like my body is just along for the insane ride that is my dreams. It's odd to me that some people tell me that they don't dream at all. I just sit in envious thought about how I wish I wasn't disturbed each night with dreams that leave me waking in the dark, screaming out or crying. I've given up trying to get control of my dreams. A counselor of mine told me that…

"Mind freak"

In spite of my daydreaming I've always been very racional person.  I'm an atheist, not believing in any spiritual world or any supernatural scills. What I believe in is a power of human brain. The power that we still didn't fully discovered. I'm very interested in such thing as hipnosis, NLP, subconcious etc.

This whole area of my interests started a few years ago. While watching BBC (which I've always enjoyed because of my love to everything what's british) I came across a…

daydream to music?

hello this is my second blog post. i just was wondering how does listening to music affect your daydreaming? does it enhance it? for me at least i usually daydream while listening to music. like if i am in the car (and someone else is driving) i will just stare out the window and daydream. but if i am out at a store and music is on though it doesn't have much affect for me unless i can really hear it good. mostly i will listen to my ipod and daydream. i love daydreaming to trance techno and… Continue
