Hi,
I found out about Wild Minds and Maladaptive Daydreaming a while ago - and this blog is hopefully to give hope. I struggled with my daydreaming for a while, but I tried to use it for good, and now I'm a Finalist at a screenwriting contest. I probably won't win the Grand Price, but since there are 5 finalists, a scene from my screenplay will be acted out on stage in front of people - which includes Directors in the industry.

Hello,
Well have been trying to write a Horror/thriller screenplay for the past week and a half, and because i have been daydreaming most of my time, have not been able to concentrate.. all i've been doing is daydreaming.... I've been very upset about this because i'm trying to meet a deadline.
the deadline is in a week and i only have 15 pages written - it has to be at least 90 - oh HELP ME!!!!!!

Has anyone seen the movie sucker punch? I haven't but I've seen the trailer, and from the trailer it looks like it deals with SF. Because it all takes in the girls mind, and she has been abused AC as child, it just seems that , the day dreaming disorder is in the film, but no one has mentioned it, and they just cover it up by saying that it's the girls imagination.
