Hi everyone, I'm Drake! I'm almost seventeen and I'm a writer!

buuut obviously Drake isn't my real name so you all may call me Harrison, Harry, Drake, Drakey, whatever you want!

I've had MD all my life, as far as I can remember back, I've been immersing myself in daydreams. This has caused me to find a sort of balance in my life, I have extreme trouble concentrating on things, but I can mix my daydreams with reality pretty well, but not well enough.

I spend a good deal of my days daydreaming, this causes me to have terrible short term memory and a kind of brain fog. Most people have labeled me an idiot because I'm so absentminded and I will often times forget something someone told me 5 minutes ago.

I have many daydreams, most are based off of books, movies, and tv shows that I watch, and I tend to obsess over these daydreams for a long time before they go away. My current obsession is Ashes to Ashes, a cop show about time travel, so in my daydream, I play the main character (with the details a bit altered because the original main character is female). By now, I possibly have over a thousand daydream worlds, that I can instantaneously immerse myself in.

I also have a talent for creating imaginary characters (some of which I can call my best friends). Not that I'm antisocial, I have many friends, but these characters are closer to my psyche than anyone else.

well that's all I have, any details I left out be sure to let me know, looking forward to meeting you all!

Welcome, Drake. I relate to the brain fog. I stopped choosing to daydream about six months ago, and I was hoping I the fog would instantly dissipate. That didn't happen. But just recently I noticed that I'm having an easier time concentrating when I read. I hope this trend continues.

Oops.  I reposted this because I misspelled "dissipate."

welcome!
